Legal Basis

  1. The Citizenship by Investment Program is set out in the regulations published pursuant to Section 101 of the Constitution and Sections 8 and 20 (1) of the Citizenship Act. This act stipulates that persons who have been a continuous resident in Dominica for five (5) years could apply for naturalization and may be eligible for citizenship upon the prescribed payment of fees being paid.
  2. No applicants with criminal records will be approved for second citizenship in Dominica. All applicants must be at least 18 years old with good character and are willing to make the required investment in Dominica. The Dominica Economic Citizenship Program is a legal naturalization program based on the law & guaranteed by the Government since 1991. Your Dominica citizenship is for a lifetime and may not be revoked, regardless of changes of officials or the Dominica governmental policy. OPTION 1: A NON-REFUNDABLE CONTRIBUTION TO THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FUND

Couple-  US$ 150,000

Applicant + Spouse + 2 Children-  US$ 175,000 

Additional Dependents (parent or child)- US$ 25,000 per applicant

Additional sibling- US$ 50,000

OPTION 2: REAL ESTATE

Purchase a property from a government approved real estate project for at least: US$ 200,000 (with a minimum holding period of seven years) 

In addition to the purchase of real estate there are government fees to be paid 

Single applicant- US$ 25,000

Family up to 4 dependents- US$ 35,000

Family up to 6 dependents- US$ 50,000

DUE DILIGENCE

Compulsory background checks are payable to the Government who appoints a preferred due diligence agency. These agencies use various international and local sources such as Interpol, World-Check and other Government agencies. These fees are payable upon the submission of the application.

Main applicant- US$ 7,500

Spouse- US$ 4,000

Dependents over 16 years- US$ 4,000

OTHER FEES
